Our Mission Statement
Our Mission is to provide honest and professional assistance to people interested in Costa Rica Real Estate and travel. This is accomplished by a dedicated team of professionals, building trust and lasting relationships with our clients.
After attending college in Texas, Cathy Wells earned her Real Estate License in 1988. Cathy remains a licensed Real Estate Agent in the USA working with one of the most respected Real Estate franchises. Her goal is that both parties in a transaction are treated honestly, fairly and with respect. Cathy has learned that both buyer and seller can be satisfied and has brought this integrity and professionalism to Costa Rica.
Unlike the USA, Costa Rica has few laws and no licensing for Real Estate Agents. Basic Real Estate education and background checks are not required in order to practice. There are no fines to be levied and the threat of loss of one's license does not exist. To maintain her license in the USA Cathy must attend 30 hours of continuing education, an advantage for her clients here in Costa Rica. Cathy's ethics, experience and standards set her apart from other agents in Costa Rica.

Carl Wells is a veterinarian who practiced 25 years in Austin, Texas. He has 10-plus years of experience in Costa Rica with a vast knowledge of it's people, culture and geographic regions. Carl has established a network of reliable connections with the real estate, legal, medical, business, and tourist communities. He prides himself on honest, patient and direct communication that was key to practicing veterinary medicine and brings these skills to the Costa Rica Professionals team. Carl's goal is to help facilitate the transactions and experiences that come with business and travel in Costa Rica. Together with Cathy, they form the perfect team to help you with all phases of your Costa Rican dream.
